Service guidelines

You agree to all terms by booking a service with Bolter Dog Co.

Before your pet’s service

  • Please submit a service request HERE. It is vital that all fields are filled so your request is not delayed. The more information I have about your pet, the better. If you have any questions about the form, please contact me. Your booking is not confirmed until I send a booking confirmation email.

  • Please be aware service times may vary. I will always do my best to accommodate the time request you submit and will let you know as soon as possible if your time is unavailble. Due to the nature of working with live animals, your pet’s service may start within 30 minutes before or after your booked time slot. If you will be home and would like me to notify you of my ETA, please let me know.

  • Please ensure home access info is accurate. If I am unable to access your residence for a service, you may be subject to cancellation fees or refusal of service in the future.

During your pet’s service

  • As a safety precaution, I always avoid other animals during your pet’s service to ensure they have the best experience possible. If your pet has friends in the neighborhood, please let me know.

  • If your pet has allergies, please let me know. Treats may be used during the walk to facilitate training or as motivation- generally I use limited ingredient salmon treats, which is a hypo-allergenic option for most dogs. I often use Finley’s or Honest Kitchen brand treats.

  • In the event of an emergency, I will contact you as soon as possible and refer to the vet information submitted with your pet. Please make sure this information is accurate and updated.

After your pet’s service

  • After your pet’s service is completed, I will send you photo/video updates and summary of our time together. Always feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.

  • As a small business, prompt payment is required. Payments must be completed within 24 hours after a service (if not before) or you may be subject to service refusal in the future. For dogs with weekly or re-occurring walking schedules, payment will be charged on Mondays each week that services are scheduled.
